Accessibility
This site should work for everyone who wants to help.
A lot of the people who support this ride are not on the newest phone or the fastest connection, and some of them need larger text or a screen reader. This site is built for them.
What we have done
- Text and background colors meet the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast minimum of 4.5:1 for body text.
- Every control can be reached with a keyboard and shows a visible focus outline.
- Images that carry meaning have descriptive alternative text.
- Headings run in order so a screen reader can navigate by structure.
- Motion is subtle, and it turns off entirely when your device asks for reduced motion.
- Text reflows to a phone screen without a horizontal scrollbar, and it stays readable when you zoom to 200 percent.
Where we fall short
Some older photos carry text inside the image, and a few archived documents are scanned PDFs that a screen reader cannot read aloud. If you need the contents of one of those, email us and we will send you the information in plain text.
Tell us about a problem
If any part of this site gets in your way, email us with the page and what happened. We will fix it.
